ð        Fonts allow you to change the size and shape of your characters.  Fonts have specific names such as Times New Roman, Arial, Courier, Bazooka, Comic Sans, Standout, etc.

ð        Fonts are measured in points based on their height.  There are 72 points in an inch.  Therefore, a 36-point size font would be 1/2 inch in height.  Examples:

8       12     18     24     36     48     72

ð        Most Windows based programs will allow you to change the font and font size on the toolbar.     

ð        Another way to change the font is to click Format on the menu bar and select Fonts from the drop down menu.
