Mississippi classroom teachers participating in the Office of Educational Technology Exemplary Teacher program developed and maintain this website to expand and enhance effective professional development. This site seeks to facilitate communications among classroom teachers by providing on-line educational resources. It also provides a forum for the dissemination of information and the collaboration of resources needed to sustain a teacher mentor network.

--Calculator Program

Windows has a calculator program that allows you to work with a ten-key calculator or use a scientific calculator. The calculator program is operated with the numeric keypad on your keyboard or with the mouse. Follow the steps below to access the calculator.

� Click the Start button on the Taskbar.

� Point to Programs.

� Point to Accessories.

� Click on Calculator.

� To change the calculator to standard or scientific, choose View on the menu bar.

/ Enter calculations using the keyboard or mouse.

/ Use the + for addition, - for subtraction, / for division, * for multiplication and = for total.

/ Use C to clear the calculation and CE to clear the last entry.
