Right-click on the desktop. |
| 2. | Choose properties from the menu. |

Choose an image from the list. You will notice that Windows will show a preview of the image on the monitor above the list. If you want to use an image which is not in the list, you can click on Browse to locate the file. |

| Why do I have a pattern button. | |
| If you would prefer a repeating pattern rather a picture, you can click on the pattern button and select one from the list. You will also notice that you can create your own custom pattern (by clicking Edit Pattern) from this screen. | |
