Moving files into a folder — Method 1
 
1.

Using your left mouse button, click and hold down on the file that you wish to move.

 
2. Drag the file on top of the appropriate folder.
 
3. When the folder changes colors, release the mouse button.
 
Moving files into a folder — Method 2
 
1.

Right click on the file that you wish to move.

 
2. Select Cut from the menu.
 
3. Right click on the folder which will hold your file.
 
4. Select Paste from the menu.
 
Are you a keyboard person?
 
1. Click on the file once to select it.
 
2. While holding the Ctrl key, strike X.
 
3. Open the folder by double-clicking on the icon.
 
4. While holding the Ctrl key, strike V.
