Mississippi classroom teachers participating in the Office of Educational Technology Exemplary Teacher program developed and maintain this website to expand and enhance effective professional development. This site seeks to facilitate communications among classroom teachers by providing on-line educational resources. It also provides a forum for the dissemination of information and the collaboration of resources needed to sustain a teacher mentor network.

Grammar Resources for English Language Learners: This is a list of links to many grammar-related resources on the Web.

Animal Idioms: If you are an advanced ESL student, this exercise can help test your knowledge of idiomatic expressions that contain animal names, like "taking the bull by the horns".

CNN Newsroom and Worldview for ESL: This site contains grammar, vocabulary and discussion questions based on real news stories. Note: These exercises are only available during the school year, but you can look at previous exercises at any time!

Interactive English Language Exercises: Four grammar exercises are offered here. These exercises are relatively advanced. When you finish each exercise, you can submit your answers and receive your score and explanations for the more difficult questions right away. This is shareware that "includes tutorials and drills which teach English grammar including: recognizing subjects and verbs; parts of speech; recognizing simple, complex, compound, and compound/complex sentences; clause types (adverb, adjective, noun); sentence patterns (subject-verb-direct object, etc.); verbals; capitalization; punctuation; pronoun/case.
